The new Droid cell phone from Motorola
The phone can be summed up in one word… “Holy Cow”! Ok, maybe that was two, how about, “Way Bithin’”! Well, you get the point.
Ok, it’s my first smart phone but I’ve had my iPod Touch for some time and other than internet access any time (and any apps that required it), I’m pretty sure [...]

Aging. Sucks big time!
On the week of May 2nd/3rd, I went to Fernley Nevada with f ew friends with the intention to do nothing more than drink, shoot guns, and ride dirt bikes (not necessarily in that order). I was so excited about going away that I “over did it” in the partying area.

One Uncle I don’t need.
For the first time in my life, I’ve had to do my taxes, or more accurately, taxes for the household. My grandmother has done the taxes for the whole family since before I was in the work force. I’ve been blissfully ignorant to the whole tax thing and the stress, time, and headaches that surround [...]

Easter 2009
Well, it’s been pretty eventfull even before the family gets here. Tyler jumped off the couch, tripped over the laptop cord, knocked the camera off the table and a soup cup of coffee went flying on to the carpet. So out came the punishments and the carpet cleaner. Of coarse, you can’t just do one [...]

If only I could afford to do this more often!
On June 14th a group of friends and forum members went to Thunderhill Park in Willows California for a day of riding on the track. There’s almost nothing better than riding at speed on the track on your motorcycle. Still being fairly fast, it’s a thrill running around and away from newer faster bikes.

Lots of side work, not a lot of hours :(
Well, I’ve been working with Rohnert Park Public Safety Officer’s Association for their website. Once the templates had been built, it was then a waiting game for the content. Since there’s two officers that I work with, they’re too busy to devote big blocks of time, so I’m at their whim for work. Take a [...]

Well, things are looking up!
Tomorrow is the start of the weekend that will mark my last in the grocery biz. I don’t know if it’s that fact or the fact I’ll have weekends off, on a regular basis, that really has me excited.
9 years in management while in the grocery stores left a bad taste in my mouth. However, I still feel myself gravitating to the supervisory position at my current job. I guess it’s all about the pride in the work (which, after all is team work) and that of the others.

Latest goings on
A little rambling for anyone who’s bored enough to be interested.
Still doing the 71+ hours a week with two jobs. Everyday I’m trying to find a way to get rid of the grocery store job. It’s turning into a hypocritical back stabbing environment that I can not work with. Unfortunately, I, we, are stuck with [...]

Argh! I knew we should’ve removed it!
When we bought this house, we wanted the pool removed because of Tyler and the lack of knowledge of taking care of a pool. Well, it didn’t happen and thankfully, up until recently, I’ve had pretty good luck with it. Vacuum it, skim it, and when it turns green, shock the shit out of it [...]

Where did the time go?
Starting the second of January this year, I’ve started working a second job. This brought about by the necessity to pay the ever increasing mortgage payments and costs of living. That doesn’t leave much time at all for
